I samband med sommarens Idrevecka i orientering så kommer vi också att arrangera Europacupen i Orienteringsskytte (Biathlon Orienteering). Europacupen avgörs i 5 tävlingar och arrangerande länder är Sverige, Finland, Belgien, Norge, Danmark.

Orienteringsskytte hette tidigare Fälttävlan. Efter några år med låg aktivitet så har Orienteringsskyttet nu åter fått fart.

Nedan följer kartorna från en annan O-skyttetävling, nämligen BRAND- & POLIS-SM 2004. Polisen i Sverige arrangerar varje år Svenska Polismästerskapen i O-skytte även om de fortfarande kallar det för Fälttävlan. Dessa tävlingar har gått på Idre Fjäll 1993, 1999 och 2004. Såväl 1999 som 2004 deltog också ett stort antal danska poliser.

Från tävlingen 2004 visar vi Punktorienteringsbanan och Fria Orienteringen för H21. Banläggare punkt-OL: Peter Tengbrand. Banläggare fria orienteringen: Kart-Bosse.

Punktorienteringen ansågs som mycket klurig och ingen av de tävlande blev felfri! Alla tävlingsklasser inledde med denna punktorientering. Här följer kartan med kontrollernas placering.

Under resultat ser ni hur det gick. I sträcktidslistan så visar den första tiden 3 km Punktorientering, andra tiden skytte 10 skott och löpning till startpunkten för fria orienteringen och sedan följer den tid det tog från den starten till första kontrollen. Sista tiden innehåller skjutning 10 skott och mållöpningen.

During Idre O-Week 2005, we are hosting an event in the Europe Cup for Biathlon Orienteering. The Cup consists of five events, taking place in Sweden, Finland, Belgium, Norwegen and Denmark.

Below are the maps from another Biathlon Orienteering-event, namely the Swedish Championships for Police- and Firemen from 2004. The Swedish Police has a championship in Orienteering Biathlon every year. These competitions have been located to Idre Fjäll 1993, 1999 and 2004. Both 1999 and 2004 also a considerable number from the Danish police attended the events.

From the competitions in 2004, we here show the Point Orienteering course and the Free Orienteering for Men 21.

The Point-O was considered difficult and tricky, and none of the competitors got a clear score! All classes started with the Point-O-course on the map below.
